Hotspex and Schick involve thousands in designing next generation razor

TORONTO, October 15, 2001 – Hotspex the online destination that empowers people to create what's next and Pfizer Canada Inc., Schick Division, have collaborated to launch the Schick Xtreme III design lab project. Visitors to www.hotspex.com will become involved in designing the next generation razor and will be able to share their thoughts and comments on popular shaving styles, tips and preferences.

Hotspex develops Mass Involvement Projects, which are customized online environments that involve users in the innovation of next generation products and services.

"By using Hotspex's innovative new approach to engage people, a better product will be created, one that has the input of thousands of people," said SzeJack Tan, Vice-President Marketing and Communications, Hotspex Inc.

Upon successful completion of the project, users can receive a free Schick Xtreme III razor. Users who submit the best ideas will be eligible to win a year supply of razors and a Goped electric powered scooter. Users will also be forwarded emails with results from the project, including hot shaving styles and tips for the season. Hotspex Mass Involvement Projects are a revolutionary way for companies to build relationships with people.
