Hotspex Inc. donated backpacks for The Salvation Army’s ‘Backpacks for Kids’ campaign. Hotspex has long been a supporter of the Salvation Army in Toronto, having been involved in other important initiatives such as relief for Hurricane Katrina victims. Our Innovators (online panelists) are directly responsible for the success of this campaign. By donating the Backpacks, our innovators help children get an education and improve their own futures. The campaign is intended to support students who do not have the resources to purchase the proper tools they need for school, one of the key factors shaping their future and the educational health of our community. It is up to all of us to help and our Innovators came through!
Newton Vanriel, Major Gifts Associate for the Ontario Central Division Salvation Army states: "Hotspex has shown that they are a caring corporation, not only in the area of disaster relief and their click donations strategy, but they have helped many children who may not be able to afford school supplies....we truly appreciate their support!”
The Backpacks for Kids Foundation relies on the kind donations from the community and various organizations. Thanks to the generosity of Hotspex Innovators, 100 children will be returning to school with a new backpack.
Carly, Hotspex Director of Innovator Relations said: “Hotspex is again grateful and amazed at the unselfishness of our innovators. Thanks to everyone who participated. You have helped make a difference in a child’s life!”
Some of the other worthwhile causes that Hotspex supports are: McDonald House in Canada; The Canadian Diabetes Association, Canadian Food Banks, Emergency shelter for abused women and children.
We are extremely proud of the efforts of our innovators in supporting our communities!
