Support 'Backpacks for Kids', the latest addition to the Hotspex Charity XChange |
|
School is just around the corner once again, and although this means back to school shopping for many, some children are less prepared to go back than others. Despite computers becoming a more prevalent role in children’s education, pens, pencils and notebooks still play an essential role in educational development. Purchasing these supplies is often beyond the financial means of less fortunate families.
This is where the Salvation Army can help. Backpacks for Kids is a way for communities to support students who do not have the resources to purchase the educational supplies they need for classroom success. The Salvation Army will be collecting backpacks filled with school supplies and distributing them to children who would otherwise go without.
Throughout the month of August Hotspex will be collecting X donations in support of this worthwhile charity. After all, what better resource to donate to then the future of young people! Visit the Hotspex Charity XChange before September 1, 2006 to donate as few as 1 and as many as all of your X’s to the Backpacks for Kids charity. On September 1st Hotspex will make an official donation of backpacks and supplies to the Salvation Army on behalf of all of the Innovators who helped donate.
