Time flies quickly here at Hotspex! It seems like just last week we were busy preparing our Holiday Newsletter and now the time has come to release our Spring edition. Amazingly, Hotspex Innovators completed over 70,000 surveys over the past 3 months. This is an incredible accomplishment! If you’ve participated in even one survey over the past 3 months, you have personally helped leading brands like Colgate-Palmolive, Virgin Mobile, Wrigley, and Nestlé bring better products to the market. Many thanks to everyone who participated in a survey!

This edition of the Hotspex Newsletter is once again packed with information to keep you up to date with all of the latest Hotspex happenings. A product that Hotspex Innovators helped innovate is ‘clearly’ creating a buzz with consumers. Read all about it and watch this product’s new commercial below. Sunquest 'Vacation of a Lifetime' Winner - Amber Solomon

Remember Amber, the winner of Hotspex and Sunquest's ‘Vacation of a Lifetime’ contest? She’s back from her trip to the Mayan Riviera in Mexico and wants to share her story!

"My boyfriend Collin and I recently returned back from our “Dream Trip for Two to Anywhere Sunquest Vacations flies”. Choosing a destination was one of the hardest things to do, but in the end we chose to go to the Mayan Riviera. We spent the majority of our time going on great adventures to amazing places like the natural aquarium Xel-Ha and visiting the ancient Mayan ruins of Telum. Snorkeling, swimming in the ocean, lying on the beach catching sun and hanging out at the swim-up bar kept us busy for the rest of the week. The food was great, my favorite were the deep fried chicken tacos. The service and suites at the Riu Palace Riviera Maya was also great. We had an exchange program with the other Riu's in the area and we were allowed to take in all the inclusive activities at all of them. The nightly entertainment was amazing. The weather wasn't always the greatest (they called it a tropical depression) but the rain was so warm that it really didn't bother us. Fifth Avenue was a short 5 minute walk from our resort and I spent an entire afternoon shopping. It was an amazing adventure in a beautiful tropical destination. We cannot thank Hotspex enough. It was a dream come true!"

Hotspex-Innovated Clear2oTM Filtration System is ‘Clearly’ Making an Impact Among Consumers

Congratulations Hotspex Innovators, a product that many of you innovated is now available on store shelves across North America! Introducing the Clear2oTM Water Filtration System.

Hotspex Innovators were personally responsible for the decision making of this new product at virtually every stage of its creation. Your fellow Innovators suggested names for the water pitcher and then selected a favorite; they then told us what they liked and disliked about the product’s features; next our Innovators took a prototype of the pitcher home and used it in their daily life; and finally, Innovators watched the product’s infomercial and told us what they thought about it. Well done on a combined effort by many different Hotspex Innovators! Haven’t seen the Clear2oTM Water Filtration System yet? Hotspex in the News: The Market Research Company that uses Humor to Pump up the Energy!

On January 15, 2007 the National Post featured a half page article about the ultra cool and unconventionally fun working atmosphere found at Hotspex. A writer for the Post spent a lunch interviewing Hotspex President Shane Skillen about attracting the right people and keeping them happy; a key to Hotspex’s successful work environment.

“We at Hotspex take the fun that we have in the office and deliver it in everything that we do for you, our Innovators.” Shane says. “From releasing surveys that are graphically intense and filled with Hotspex interactive tools, to creating a website that doesn’t follow the conservative format that many of other survey companies use, we really strive to start the fun in the work environment and infuse it into everything else that we do.”

The‘Smart’ Research Company

This past December, many of you participated in a brief survey showcasing possible designs for the newest edition to the Hotspex office. Your opinions were heard! The votes were tallied and the car was detailed. Introducing the Hotspex Smart ‘Fortwo Coupe’, or as we like to call it, the ‘SmartSpex’ car.

Hotspex is a research company that has long been committed to conserving our environment. Carbon credits are purchased for our staff members to offset the carbon footprints created by employees’ commutes to work.

Hotspex also supports other organizations who are also trying to purify our air, like the Rainforest Conservation Fund.
